We are learning about the Sun! We have made a scale model (138.5 cm Sun to .5 Earth!) so we can understand just how big it is! We have also made a scientific drawing of the sun for our science journals.

MEAP Daaaeeeyyyyyy is contagious. With actors this talented, how could you not want to share???
Hey, hey hey.
Crull Comets... Crull, Crull, Crull, Crull, Cruuuuuulllllllll... Guess what day it is? MEAP Daauuuyyyyyyyy! A HUGE thank you to all of the families who came back to school last night from 6-8pm to learn all about the academics that our upper elementary students take part of. It was fun being able to share a delicious pizza and salad dinner with families, and to see so many smiling and excited faces. Each grade met and discussed the upcoming MEAP test, as well the academic rigors that are unique to each grade level. One session even included making "lucky MEAP socks" for students to wear next week.
Once a month for the entire school year, the Blue Water Garden Club is going to come to H D Crull Elementary and work with the fourth graders. The students will learn botany skills under the expert tutelage of the BWGC, showing students all of the wonderful things they can do with plants. For the first visit, the fourth grade students worked on school beautification and had a BLAST doing it!
